After 42 years as a tattoo artist, and 27 years as Roadhouse Tattoos in Holland, we’re officially sharing some bittersweet news: I’m set to retire. Come the end of June 2024, Roadhouse Tattoos will bid farewell.
It's been an incredible journey filled with unforgettable memories, colorful designs, and amazing clients like you who trusted us with adorning your skin. From small symbols with big meanings to intricate masterpieces, each tattoo has been a canvas for creativity and self-expression. I've laughed, I've cried, and I've shared countless stories with each of you, leaving a permanent mark not just on your skin, but in my heart as well. I'm truly grateful for the joy you've brought me. To the apprentices I've had the privilege of guiding over the years, know that my legacy lives on through each of you.
As I embark on this new chapter of my life, I want to express my deepest gratitude to all of you who have supported me along the way. Your trust, encouragement, and friendship have meant the world to me, and I'll cherish the memories we've created together. My heartfelt thanks go out to my wife, children, and grandchildren for their unwavering support. Family is everything to me and I look forward to crafting new memories with them by my side.
I want to add a special thank you to my daughter Amanda. She’s worked with me at the studio since she was 15 years old. She started out with scheduling, ordering and upkeep of the studio. When Amanda was 18 she took over the piercing side of the business and brought it to new levels of excellence. Thank you Amanda for helping make our studio one to be proud of.
With that being said, I will not be taking new appointments. However, for those of you who currently have appointments scheduled, rest assured that they will be honored.
