Please reschedule your appointment if you are experiencing any of the following: fever, cough, shortness of breath, other cold or flu-like symptoms. As always, our stations are thoroughly cleaned after every client to assure a safe, sterile environment during your visit.

General Info

All services are by appointment.

All consultations for your tattoo are free, please note, this does not include drawing.

There is a shop minimum of $100.00 on tattoos.

Gift certificates are available. Cash only for gift certificates above $100.00.

Every tattoo appointment requires a $40.00 deposit that will be deducted from the final price. Full day tattoo appointments require a minimum of a $50.00 deposit. If a deposit is sent in the mail please make sure to make a note with your first and last name and tattoo date and time. Checks can be made out to Roadhouse Tattoos, PO Box 135, Holland, NY 14080.

Rescheduling Appointments: Deposits can be transferred to a new appointment date if the appointment is rescheduled prior to 72 hours before your appointment.

Cancelling Appointments: You can receive your deposit back in the form of a gift certificate prior to 72 hours before your appointment.

Since appointments are generally made far in advance, there is an option to be put on a cancellation list, where if someone cancels their appointment, we can give you a call and see if you’d like to come in sooner for your appointment!

Tipping: If you are happy with the service provided, you are encouraged to tip your artist to thank them for a job well done—but this is in no way required. Like in other service-based industries, 20% is standard, but if you love the service you’ve received you can always tip more! All tips are appreciated. For inserting jewelry or other free services, $5 to $10 is gracious, but more is always appreciated if the service we've provided is especially difficult or time-consuming.

ID Requirements & Piercing Age Restrictions

ID Requirements for Adults

Clients who are at least 18 years or older must provide their ID for tattoo and piercing services.

You MUST be 18+ with government issued photo I.D. to receive a tattoo in New York State.

Acceptable:

Driver's License
Passport
Military ID
Permanent Resident Card
Federal or State-issued photo ID
Work or school ID with one of the following:
- Birth Certificate
- Voter Registration
- Temporary Driver's License
- Driver's Permit

Piercings for Minors

For any piercing or jewelry insertion service for a minor, the minor will need a valid (non-expired) government-issued document that shows their date of birth as well as a photo ID. A driver’s license or state ID satisfies both requirements. However, if the minor does not have such an ID, a birth certificate in conjunction with school or work photo ID will work as well. In addition, we will need a valid (non-expired) ID from the parent or legal guardian that proves they have legal responsibility for the minor. This could include a driver’s license with matching last names to the minor’s ID, or any government-issued photo ID with a name that appears on the minor’s birth certificate or guardianship paperwork.

Acceptable for Minor:

Driver's License
Federal or State-issued photo ID (includes Passports and Military IDs)
Driver's Permit
School or Work photo ID with Birth Certificate

Acceptable for Parent/Guardian with Minor:

Driver’s License, State, or Federal ID with the same last name that appears on minor’s ID

If the last names on the parent's and minor's IDs do not match, we will need additional documentation proving the relationship, such as a birth certificate.

Piercing Age Requirements for Minors

We offer earlobe piercings for minors ages 8 and up, and we offer select piercings for minors ages 15-17. Due to the low success rate of healing and higher rate of rejection and migration, we do not offer piercings under 15, aside from earlobes. Please understand that this decision is for the well-being of our younger clients.

Please note, we have the right to decline performing certain piercings on minors. Anatomy varies and not all piercings are suitable for each person.
